As a club we try to actively recognise the Duty of Care Guidelines published by All England Netball Association. A copy of the Duty of Care Guidelines can be obtained from the Club's Executive Committee on request, and is provided as a matter of course to all Officers of the Club.

• Encourage children to participate for their enjoyment - do not force them.
• Support your child's involvement and help them to enjoy their sport
• Encourage children to learn the rules and to play within them.
• Focus on the child's efforts and performance rather than on winning or losing.
• Never punish or belittle a child for making a mistake or losing a game.
• Encourage children to show good sporting spirit by applauding the good performances of all.
• Respect Officials' decisions and teach children to do the same.
• Discourage unfair play
• Use correct and proper language at all times.
